As a deli clerk you will be required to wait on customers, weigh and price merchandise, greet and communicate with our customers in a most polite and considerate manor. You must be outgoing and self motivated, have good hygiene habits, and work well with fellow employees. You must also be able to easily follow directions.
This job will require you to lift objects and learn to operate a digital a scale along with other necessary equipment pertinent to the trade. You will also learn how to tear down, clean, reassemble and operate a meat slicer in a safe manner.
You will be required to stay and help clean the work areas and equipment. Certain candidates may be chosen to help carry goods for our customers and unload supplies and stock merchandise.
Our facility in Hazle Township is open 7 days a week and on some holidays, so you may be required to work with a flexible schedule. Bi lingual is an advantage as is a background of cuts of meat and culinary arts. You must be 18 years or older.
